I’ll Be Back Soon…

I don’t know if you’ve missed me, but I’ve missed blogging these last two weeks. However, my body has demanded a period of healing and I have acquiesced. The neck and shoulder are screaming less these days, and tomorrow I get my next botox treatment for the migraines, so I’m thinking by next week I should be able to tolerate some computer time again.
It’s been very, very frustrating to have to submit to the limitations of my physical body, even more so to admit that I feel less mentally sharp because of being so worn out. This is the worst I’ve felt in a long while. I don’t like it! If you feel healthy and strong, take a moment to notice that and enjoy it.
On the bright side…we are moving into spring, and some of the bulbs I planted last fall are actually coming up now, having survived the goofy winter weather, the squirrels, and the deer. I haven’t seen a sign of the iris reticulata yet, however – maybe it’s still too early. I’ve got a few snowdrops, some crocus blooming, and the promise of lots of daffodils. I don’t think the Glory of the Snow is going to come up, though. I’ll wait a little longer before giving up all hope, but I haven’t seen a peep from them yet and they are supposed to be among the earliest.
Well – I hope I’ll be back here soon, early next week. Don’t give up on me yet, and thanks for your patience.

I was starting to worry. I figured it wouldn’t do much good to email good wishes, though, since you probably had to keep off the computer!
I hope all goes well, and you are back to full strength in no time.

Yes, we noticed and worried. Glad to see you back. With 80 degrees in Chapel Hill thee days, I’ll have to pay some attention to my flowers ASAP!

Your absence is noticed, hope you feel better soon! I’ve been enjoying following the Joy of Science class.

I noticed you weren’t posting and guessed the reason. I hope you feel better now after the Botox treatment.
Glory of the Snow is the last of my small spring bulbs. It obviously waits for warmer weather. Brrr.
